About
Nintendo Entertainment Analysis & Development (EAD) was Nintendo's primary internal software development division from 1983 until its reorganisation into multiple studios in 2015. Under the leadership of Shigeru Miyamoto, EAD created and developed most of Nintendo's flagship franchises including Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing, F-Zero, Star Fox, and Pikmin. Its successor studios include Nintendo EPD.
